INTRODUCTION
Our four houses provide a caring and secure home for 52 adults with learning difficulties. Although each Home is independent they share the same core values and beliefs, which enable individuals to thrive and live fulfilling lives
Care Homes
We aim to provide a secure home for life in a friendly, caring and homely environment and meet every individual's needs.
The properties are located in the village of Lyminge, at the Elham Valley vineyard and at Barham. Each of the homes operates on a not-for-profit basis with any surplus from operations ploughed back to improving the homes.
- The homes provide 24 hour care.
- Each is located in a quiet rural setting but in or close to a village and a bus stop.
- The homes use a person centred approach to care provision.
- All residents have en-suite facilities to their rooms.
- Residents can choose to furnish and decorate their room to their own choice.
- Residents have access to a wide range of classes. In addition to the range of classes, work based opportunities include Woodwork, Pottery, Media and Art and Craft.

Day Services
Residents are fortunate to have the support of a charity, the Fifth Trust, which provides help to the homes but principally provides two Day Centres with an extremely wide choice of activities. The Centres are open to residents from our homes and to others living in the locality.
In addition to the range of classes and work based opportunities including woodwork, pottery, media, and art and craft, the Centre at the Elham Valley Vineyard has a traditional Tea Shop open to the public 7 days per week. It also has a Plant and Garden Centre – both staffed by residents and students during the week.
